Course Description |
This course is designed for engineering and maintenance personnel who configure, and maintain the LCI™ static starter. Laboratory assignments include hardware identification, Hyper terminal and Control System ToolboxST™ communications, understanding the monitor commands, and user diagnostic tests. This course will utilize Simulators, and a full functioning LCI™ starter. Lectures and hands-on exercises develop a thorough understanding of the equipment. |

Instruction is given in English, therefore a reasonable ability to read and understand spoken English is required Reasonable computer skills Electrical experience/education Participants are encouraged to research their turbine-generator equipment and documentation to verify they have an Innovation Series LCI™ static starter, and to bring a copy of their system elementary drawing with them to class. |
