Course Description |
Introduce operations and maintenance personnel to the operation, maintenance and alarm troubleshooting procedures of the Mark™ VIe Aeroderivative gas turbine control system, to attain high levels of availability, and reliability from the turbine package. This course will also cover functional sensor & actuator description, troubleshooting, and a summary of calibration and inspections required for major turbine package. The course designed primarily for LMS100 and Next Generation LM6000 Mark™ VIe applications. The course material and exercises provide training on hardware, network interfaces and software tools which are used to troubleshoot alarms, edit the control logic, configure the Inputs and outputs (both hardwired and networked), and calibrate Servo-Actuated Valve LVDT’s and other devices. Lectures and hands-on exercises also develop an understanding of ToolboxST™, WorkstationST™ (if applicable), TCI (if applicable) and Cimplicity™/HMI. The course DOES NOT include repair procedures for gas turbine components. Operating and maintenance personnel should attend this course together to develop a working relationship regarding the maintenance requirements of the unit, and how unit operation may affect these requirements. |
